First attempt on astro photography

I have done my first attempt on astro photography just by aiming my digital camera (Canon Ixus 850 IS) through the eye piece! The object in question was our own moon - I must say that the end result surprised me.

I am looking forward to when I can try my "real" astro camera camera (Celestron NexImage) for the first time.

    Nice! I also took my first astro-photos with a small Canon Digital Ixus through a birding-scope ;-) It`s actually amazing how much it`s possible to capture with simple equipment.

    Looking forward to seeing more images.
